VENDOR Awards: To ensure that the most deserving companies in EMEA are selected for vendor awards, it is vital to operate a clear and transparent voting process.  The 'EMEA Channel Academy: 2010 Awards' will use a VIP Distributor Jury who  produce a list of five nominees for each award category. Registered DISTREE delegates from the distributor community are also invited to submit nominations.

These lists of nominees are collated centrally - weighted accordingly in relation to the size of the market – and combined to produce the final list of 5 nominees for each award. During the 'EMEA Channel Academy: 2010 Awards' ceremony, all of the distribution executives gathered take part in a live electronic voting process during the Gala Dinner to determine the vendor winners.

DISTRIBUTOR Awards: Prior to the awards, more than one hundred EMEA-level channel executives are approached to form the VIP Vendor Jury. Each vendor nominates their preferred distributor by region within the EMEA theatre and their overall preferred partner. Distributors attending DISTREE XXL also have the opportunity to nominate their business for an award.

These nominations are confidentially collated and circulated to all members of the VIP Vendor Jury. Each jury member picks 5 nominees in each category. Again, these votes are counted to come up with the 5 finalists for each category. VIP Vendor Jury members then attend the Gala Dinner and vote live (anonymously and individually) to select the winner of each award. Please note that only jury members are eligible to vote for the distributor awards at the Gala Dinner.

Hall Of Fame Awards: These are lifetime achievement awards recognising outstanding contribution to the development of the EMEA channel as selected by the Executive Awards Committee (EAC).
