The shortlist of vendor nominees for each vendor award is decided by members of the VIP Distributor Jury prior to the awards evening. Individual voting forms from distributors submitted via the DISTREE XXL website will also be included. The shortlisted nominees are voted on live during the gala dinner.

Vendors are judged on partner engagement, channel strategy, pricing policies, stock management, product evolution, margin potential, channel management and the development of channel programmes. In addition to seven awards for vendors working in specific product areas, there is also an award for EMEA Vendor Initiative of the Year. This award is based on applications received from vendors.
